Ability systems.

I'm currently using five systems for abilities, skill being the most used.


Skill
· Abilities have MP cost.
· Damage can be affected either by Power and/or Attack.
· Effects of abilities (slow, duration, for instance) can be affected only by Power.
· Cooldown of abilities variate.
· Normal growth of HP, MP, Bonus HP, Bonus MP, Attack Speed, Armor, Power, Attack, and Spirit.

Characters using Skill system:

- Komachi, the Stygian Boatmaiden.
- Suika, the Drunken Oni.
- Tenshi, the Celestial.
- Patchouli, the Mobile Library.
- Reisen, the Lunatic Bunny.
- Cirno, the Idiotic Fairy.
- Sephiroth, the Son of Genova.
- Eirin, the Nurse.
- Saber, the Servant Saber.



Technique
· Abilities have no MP cost.
· Damage can be affected either by Power and/or Attack.
· Effects of abilities are never modified.
· Cooldown is usually high.
· Have only HP, Bonus HP, Attack Speed, Armor, Power and/or Attack growth. MP is always 1.

Characters using Technique system:

- Cloud, the Ex-SOLDIER.
- Tifa, the Bar Hostess.
- Remilia, the Eternal and Beautiful Vampire.


Gauge
· Abilities have no MP cost, except for the ultimate, which always cost 100 MP.
· Damage can be affected either by Power and/or Attack.
· Effects of abilities are rarely modified, and only by Power.
· Cooldown is usually low.
· EXTRA: Ultimates' cooldown are usually low, but cannot be activated unless you get into a fight.
· Have only HP, Bonus HP, Attack Speed, Armor, Power and/or Attack growth. MP is always 125, and have a negative -10 MP regeneration. Spirit does not affect MP regeneration.
· EXTRA: MP is recovered by doing damage, or by activating certain abilities (for instance, Meiling's Tiger Strength adds 15 to her MP).


Characters using Gauge system:

- Meiling, the Scarlet Gate Keeper.
- Flandre, the Little Sister.


Boost
· Abilities have little MP cost, except for the ultimate, which has no cost.
· EXTRA: During the ultimate, the basic abilities are improved.
· Damage can be affected either by Power and/or Attack.
· Effects of abilities are rarely modified, and only by Power.
· Cooldown of abilities variate.
· Have only HP, Bonus HP, Attack Speed, Armor, Power and/or Attack growth. MP is always 125, and have a constant 3 MP regeneration. Spirit does not affect MP regeneration.


Characters using Boost system:


- Iku, the Dancing Dragon.
- Youmu, the Ghost Gardener.


Blood Heat
· Abilities can have MP cost or can be free.
· EXTRA: Abilities do extra effects depending on the level of HP. Below 70%, a extra effect. Below 40%, two extra effects. Below 25%, three extra effects.
· Damage can be affected either by Power or Attack.
· Effects of abilities are only modified if below certain HP level.
· Cooldown of abilities are usually high.
· Can have normal growth or non-MP growth.

Saber, the King of Knights [FINALE]

Saber, the King of Knights

King of Britain, Arthur Pendragon.


Power: 17 + 1.6. 
Attack: 68 + 4.2.
Spirit: 84 + 5.4.


Role: Tank, Power, Disruptor, AoE massive damage.
Range: 128 (Melee).

Speed: 290.

Base Attack Time: 1.04.
Ability System: Skill.
Hp:
615.
Mp: 420.

Hp Growth: +321.
Mp Growth: +79.
AS Bonus: +2%.

Skills: Intuition, Invisible Air, Charisma.
Ultimate: Excalibur.
Special: Dragon Armor & Healing Powers.





Skill 1 - Intuition


Saber's intuition is almost at a clairvoyance level.
Passively makes Saber to null all incoming damage every briefs periods of time. Goes in cooldown when taking damage from a hero.
On use, Saber marks all enemies within 900 range with the Intuition mark for 4 seconds, increasing her attackspeed against marked targets.
Enemies with the Intuition debuff will reveal a mark on the ground when beginning casting an ability.

Level 1 - Increases AS by 20.
Level 2 - Increases AS by 35.
Level 3 - Increases AS by 50.
Level 4 - Increases AS by 65.
Level 5 - Increases AS by 80.


Cooldown: 8 seconds.
Deflect Cooldown: 6 seconds.
MP cost: 50.



Skill 2 - Invisible Air
 

Saber can send an air wave towards the selected point, dealing damage to enemies and knocking them to the sides.
Saber can activate this ability once again to rush 600 distance forwards, stunning for 0.75 seconds the first enemy she collides with and stopping her.

 
Level 1 - Deals 40 damage.
Level 2 - Deals 70 damage.
Level 3 - Deals 100 damage.
Level 4 - Deals 130 damage.
Level 5 - Deals 160 damage.


Power: 40%. 

Cooldown: 17/15/13/11/9 seconds.
MP cost: 60.

 

Skill 3 - Charisma 


Rank B is enough to lead a country, though it doesn't matter.
Passively increases nearby allies armor by a fixed ammount.
When taking 500 or more damage, Saber induces fear to nearby non-hero enemies while silencing nearby heroes for 3 seconds.
This effect does not trigger more than once every 4 seconds. 


Level 1 - Increases armor by 10.
Level 2 - Increases armor by 20.
Level 3 - Increases armor by 30.
Level 4 - Increases armor by 40.
Level 5 - Increases armor by 50.

 
Cooldown: 4 seconds.




Ultimate - Excalibur


Sword of promised victory, Excalibur.
Channels magic energy for 2.2 seconds, then releases it in a line in front of Saber, damaging enemies caught in the explosion.
 
Note: Has 2500 range and 400 AoE.


Level 1 - Deals 400 damage.
Level 2 - Deals 800 damage.
Level 3 - Deals 1200 damage. 


Power: 225%.

Cooldown: 90 seconds.
MP cost: 150/250/350.




Unique - Dragon Armor & Healing Powers
 

Decreases spell damage Saber takes by 30%.
Saber recovers 1% of her maximum Hp each second. 


Note: A special effect is attached to Saber when healing. Displays green numbers showing the heal ammount.

Marisa Kirisame, the Ordinary Magician [FINALE]

Marisa, the Ordinary Magician

Power: 11 + 1.15. 
Attack: 57 + 2.6.
Spirit: 74 + 4.4.


Role: Power, Carry, AoE.
Range: 450.
Missile Speed: 600.
Speed: 290.

Base Attack Time: 1.27.
Ability System: Skill.
Hp:
440.
Mp: 310.

Hp Growth: +227.
Mp Growth: +79.
AS Bonus: +2%.

Skills: Milky Way, Orriores Sun, Blazing Star.
Ultimate: Master Spark.
Special: Kleptomany.





Skill 1 - Milky Way


Marisa sends a star wave that damages enemies for a percentage of their maximum life as magic damage, slowing them for 2 seconds in the process.
Upon touching an enemy hero or traveling 800 distance, the wave explodes, sending stars as projectiles in different directions, each dealing damage in area on contact with an enemy.

 

Level 1 - Wave deals 10% damage and slows by 17%.
Level 2 - Wave deals 14% damage and slows by 23%.
Level 3 - Wave deals 18% damage and slows by 29%.
Level 4 - Wave deals 22% damage and slows by 35%.
Level 5 - Wave deals 26% damage and slows by 41%.


Wave Power effect: 0.05% damage / PP.
Star damage: 80%. 
Cooldown: 9.5 seconds.
MP cost: 55/65/75/85/95.



Skill 2 - Orriores Sun

A colorful barrier protects Marisa from any magical harm for up to 6 seconds, throwing back stars when targeted by an enemy ability.
As long as her barrier protects her, Marisa can shoot a star beam towards a target point, ensnaring the first enemy it hits, but losing her barrier in the process.



Level 1 - Blocks up to 100 damage, ensnares for 1 second.
Level 2 - Blocks up to 160 damage, ensnares for 1.25 seconds.
Level 3 - Blocks up to 220 damage, ensnares for 1.5 seconds.
Level 4 - Blocks up to 280 damage, ensnares for 1.75 seconds.
Level 5 - Blocks up to 340 damage, ensnares for 2 seconds.


Power effect: +60 barrier / 30 PP.
Star damage: 60%. 
Cooldown: 20/18/16/14/12 seconds.
MP cost: 60/65/70/75/80.

 

Skill 3 - Blazing Star

Rides her broom for 700 distance towards facing direction, incinerating the terrain for damage per second.
If colliding with an enemy unit during the process, stuns it for 1 second, moving Marisa behind the enemy.

Fire trail lasts 6 seconds after Marisa has stopped. 


Level 1 - Trail deals 30 DPS.
Level 2 - Trail deals 45 DPS.
Level 3 - Trail deals 60 DPS.
Level 4 - Trail deals 75 DPS.
Level 5 - Trail deals 90 DPS.


Power: 40%.
Cooldown: 28/25/23/19/16 seconds.
MP cost: 60.




Ultimate - Master Spark


Marisa charges her hakero for 1 second, then releases a mighty beam in the selected direction, dealing massive damage in a line. 



Level 1 - Deals 460 damage.
Level 2 - Deals 740 damage.
Level 3 - Deals 1020 damage. 


Power: 100%.
Cooldown: 120/110/100 seconds.
MP cost: 150/250/350.




Unique - Kleptomany

Marisa ain't really a kleptomaniac, but whatever.
Earns 10 extra gold each time Marisa kills an enemy. This effect stacks up to six times with 6 increasing gold earning for up to 7 seconds.
Marisa can copy the next hero ability targeted at her for 45 seconds.

Note: A special effect overhead indicates the ability is off cooldown.
Note: In the test map, this ability also triggers by non-hero abilities.



Gold: 10/16/22/28/34/40.
Cooldown: 60 seconds.
